This is the flow (outline) of our presentation: (Sorry, when I tried to add to this, the formatting and numbering went wonky! See the "Our Jobs" page for some more specifics we'd talked about including.)
Title of our presentation (I think I'd start with the attention grabber - "Matt", then get into the meat of it. - H.)
Presenting the ESSENTIAL QUESTION: " ?" (Or Definition of the problem - We live in an increasingly global world, but even in international schools, are we preparing students to be global citizens?)
Insert videos of "What does it mean to be a global citizen?" AND put operational terms here.
ESLRs and mission statements are something most schools have but may not embody. Our accrediting agencies, like WASC place a high value on ESLRs, and want to see accountability for them, but many people are a bit lost when it comes to integrating them in meaningful ways.
Showing an attention-catcher - maybe "Where the hell is Matt?" or 2 clips from Rolly's videos (I think Rolly's videos, are part of a "Success is Possible" section - including photos from Seoul, Bangladesh, India, and the video clips from St. John's)
Then ... After showing a variety of examples of students, we talk about things that make those successful programs different - How do we prepare staff and students for this mindset?
